Camping Vilanova Park - A 3-star campground with bungalows, sports facilities, and proximity to Barcelona
Camping Vilanova Park is a campground and activity center offering accommodations in bungalows or pitches for tents and caravans. The bungalows feature private bathrooms, kitchenettes, air conditioning, and furnished terraces, with bed linen included. Guests can dine at Vilanova Park's restaurant, serving Catalan and international dishes, with a take-away service available in July and August. The property includes two large pools (1000 m2 total), a children's pool, a wellness center, and sports facilities such as basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts. Organized activities include a miniclub for children and nightly entertainment. The campground is located 40 km from Barcelona-El Prat Airport, with a direct bus to Barcelona and local transport to Vilanova i la Geltrú's beach. A supermarket and bakery are available on-site.
Pros
The campground features extensive sports and leisure facilities, including pools and wellness services.
Bungalows are equipped with kitchens, private bathrooms, and furnished terraces.
Family-friendly amenities include a miniclub, children's pool, and nightly entertainment.
Convenient transport links to Barcelona and local beaches via nearby bus stops.
Cons
Towels are not included in accommodations and must be rented separately.
Pets are restricted from bungalows, with certain breeds prohibited entirely.
“This campsite clearly prioritizes well-maintained facilities, even when occupancy is high, suggesting a commitment to guest comfort. While perhaps not the cheapest option, its strong preparation for crowds makes it a reliably solid choice; I find it highly recommendable.”
